PRINCIPAL's MESSAGE

Education helps in development of the child intellectually, physically and spiritually. A Vidyalaya has to provide curriculum for all round development of the child. This has been the focus of KVS from the beginning. The activities in the school are planned in the manner so that proper growth of a child’s skills and competencies are ensured.
About Us

Kendriya Vidyala Sangathan (KVS) is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India.

The headquarters of KVS is located at 18 Institutional Area, Shahhed Jeet Singh Marg, New Delhi-110016 [Phone no. 011-26858570 (Board) , FAX -011026514179, email kvssao@nic.in]. The KVS administers its schemes thought 18 Regional offices; and 979 Kendriya Vidyalaya including 03 aborad. Each Kendirya Vidyalaya has its Vidyalya Management Committee headed by a senior officer from Defence/Civil Services or an educationist. All the Kendriya Vidyalas are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Delhi.

Policies for Kendriya Vidyalya Sangthan are framed through its Board of Governors headed by the Hon'ble Minister, Human Recourse Development Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is executive head of the organization.

KVS believes in imparting knowledge/values and developing to nurture systems talent, enthusiasm and creativity of its students for seeking excellence and innovation through high quality educational endeavors.
Our Mission
KVS has four fold mission viz:- (1) To cater to educational needs of children of transferable Central Government employees including defense and Para military personnel by providing a common programmed of education.
(2) To pursue excellence and set the pace in the field of school education.
(3)To initiate and promote experimentation and innovation in education in collaboration with other bodies like CBSE, NCERT etc.
(4) To Develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of "Indian ness" among children.
Services Provided
(1) Admission as per KVS laid down policies.
(2) Priority is given to the wards of transferable Central Government Employees.
(3) Reservations in fresh admission are provided as per Admission Guidelines
(4) Special Provisions in fresh admission also exist in Kendriya Vidyalayas.
(5) Admission schedule has been established in measurable timeframe
